The Brewery Arts Center in Carson City will host the musical instrumental ensemble Verviers Pronounced Verviers, the ensemble features cello, guitars, percussion, keys. The set will include all original compositions and feature a few guest soloists bringing in the trumpet and mandolin.

The precautionary boil water notice issued for the Copper Canyon Estates in Dayton on May 13 has been lifted. Laboratory testing confirms the water is safe to drink, according to the Lyon County Utilities Department.

The Carson City Symphony Association will present a free concert featuring Music of the Andes on Saturday, May 21, at 2:30 p.m., at Empire Elementary School, 1260 Monte Rosa Drive in Carson City.
