Carson City Humane Society's Pet of the Week: Patch
Happy Thursday Carson City! It's a beautiful day, with lots of sun, which means the potential for sun patches for grateful kitty-cats!
Meet Patch, a sweet one-eyed, one-year-old tabby who is currently available for adoption at Nevada Humane Society’s Carson City shelter.
Patch comes with lots of personality. She was rescued from an overcrowded home, and because of her past, she is a little shy at first, but she is sweet as pie when she comes out of her shell.
When Patch was born, she needed veterinary care for a condition that caused complications with her eye. Unfortunately, due to the cost of treatment, Patch was unable to see a veterinarian until she came to our shelter.
Our Veterinary Team treated Patch for her condition, and her eye was ultimately removed to ensure she could lead a happy, pain-free life. Patch has been making leaps and bounds in her recovery, and she is ready to find a happy home where she can be part of a loving family.
If you are looking to make a difference in the life of a young cat that could benefit from a nice quiet furever home, then consider meeting and adopting Patch today at our Carson City Shelter.
Let's hear from Patch herself!
“I'm one of many who was brought to Nevada Humane Society from a crowded home. I've been through a unique experience, so I am still very timid and shy at first. I'm hoping to find someone who will offer me patience, love, and TLC as I'm very sweet, gentle and kind.”
You can meet Patch by visiting the Carson City branch of the Nevada Humane Society located at 549 Airport Road in Carson City, or by calling (775) 887-2171 to find out more!
