Friends of the Douglas County Library Book Sale at the Minden Library Nov. 17-18

November 17, 2023 (All day) The Friends of the Douglas County Library will host a two-day used book sale, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 17-18, at the Minden Library, 1625 Library Lane.
The sale will feature paperback and hardcover fiction and nonfiction books, plus a selection of holiday books and puzzles.
Nevada State Police step up seatbelt enforcement with 'click it or ticket' campaign

The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Division and law enforcement agencies statewide will be on the lookout for motorists not wearing their seatbelts as part of a "click it or ticket" campaign, Nov. 10-30, 2023.

Sierra Nevada Realtors released its October 2023 report Thursday on existing home sales in Carson City, Lyon, Douglas, Storey, Washoe and Churchill counties. The report includes median sales price and the number of home sales in the region. SNR obtains its information from the Northern Nevada Regional Multiple Listing Service.
