The UNR Wolf Pack and USC Trojans football teams met for just the sixth time back on Sept. 2, 2023. Prior to that, the teams had last played each other 94 years earlier on Nov. 9, 1929 at the Los Angeles Coliseum in a landmark game.

Look no further than the Youth Olympic Weightlifting Program right here in our community at Carson City Barbell Club. This program, designed for young athletes, provides an exceptional opportunity for your child to discover the world of weightlifting and reach their full potential.

The Carson City Senior Center will host a weekly yoga class starting a Tuesday, Nov. 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every Tuesday. The program is led by Ruth Chan a certified yoga instructor who teaches the Ashtanga style, with modifications to fit different physical levels, incorporating the 8-directional bending, twisting, and stretching to attain proper alignment.
