Nevada gains jobs in March; Carson City adds 300 jobs since February
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Sun, 04/23/2023 - 6:00amAccording to the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation’s March 2023 economic report, Nevada gained 2,600 jobs over the month. The number of jobs in the state is up 73,000 since March 2022, an annual increase of 5.0 percent.

Carson City Smiths employee confirms rat, mouse infestation, store closed by Health Department

They could not provide details on whether or not food was contaminated, and stated customers who are concerned should contact the store; however, the store is closed and the phones are not being answered. In the meantime, Carson City FoodMaxx is reported to have increased their staffing over the weekend to deal with customer overflow.
