Carson City’s Catmandu Cat of the Week: Morris
Young, handsome, friendly, affectionate, excellent personality, great fur …. Morris has it all. Everyone that meets him falls instantly in love, and so will you.
Catmandu’s Cat of the week is purrfect for someone who is looking for an only cat to share their life, their home, and their lap. Morris loves human attention. He will run up to you for pets, climb in your lap if you sit down, talk to you, and flop down for body pets.
A long-haired brown tabby between 2 and 3 years old, he came to Catmandu when his person lost her housing and was no longer able to keep him.
Only recently neutered, he is nonetheless a perfect gentleman with impeccable litter box habits and absolutely does not spray or mark.
He is microchipped and up to date on all his vaccines.
Morris’ only “fault” is that he does not like other cats. At all. End of discussion. He definitely needs to be an only cat.
He has never been around dogs, but would likely eventually be fine with a cat-friendly dog.
If you would like to meet this very special guy and maybe take him home, please come by Catmandu Friday through Sunday at 1829 Brown Street in Carson City. Adoption hours are 11 am to 4 pm. We ask that anyone looking to adopt arrive no later than 3 pm so they have plenty of time to visit before adoptions close at 4.
Catmandu is a cage-free non-profit cat sanctuary and rescue. Since opening in 2014, Catmandu has helped more than 2500 cats and kittens find a better life. We rely on donations and the support of our community to stay open. If you would like to help Catmandu, either by donating or by volunteering, please visit our website at www. catmanducc.org.
