The Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department is absolutely floored by the number of volunteers who attended the Lone Mountain cleanup on Saturday, Oct. 8 ,2022.
New Carson City Lucky Strike Casino hiring events happening Wednesday and again Oct. 22

October 12, 2022 - 1:00pm This Wednesday, Oct. 12 and again on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. the new Lucky Strike Casino in south Carson City will be holding hiring events for all positions.
Immediate interviews will take place during these days and times inside the new Lucky Strike Casino, 2811 S. Carson St. in Carson City.
Nevada State Police investigation leads to 8,784 pounds of marijuana in illegal grow

Nevada State Police and multiple law enforcement agencies seized 8,784 pounds of marijuana worth an estimate $7.8 million and arrested three men after finding an illegal outdoor grow site in a remote Lincoln County wilderness area.
