Nevada Day to Benefit Charity: Red's Old 395 Pancake Breakfast and Beers by the Bank

The Nevada Builders Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Nevada Builders Alliance, will host two events on Saturday, Oct. 29 during the annual Nevada Day Parade. The events include a Nevada Day breakfast buffet at Red’s Old 395 Grill from 6 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. and the new “Beers by the Bank” next to Bank Saloon.

Carson City Sheriff: Precautionary evacuation in area of 5th and Saliman after device found in storage shed

UPDATE: The area has been cleared and there is no threat. The device was verified as a novelty item, said Sheriff Furlong.

An unknown device found at a storage facility shed in the area of Saliman and 5th Street in Carson City prompted a precautionary evacuation of homes in the area early Thursday afternoon, according to Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong.

The Tubes "Outside Inside Tour" is celebrating the 40th Anniversary of their album that included their popular song "She's A Beauty" They will be performing at The Alpine in Reno on Oct. 27.

This month, the selected recipient is truly unique: utilizing horses to teach vulnerable youth to become the most capable version of themselves. Man in stolen vehicle eludes Lyon County deputies, found passed out after breaking into home

On October 12, 2022, at 1207 p.m., Lyon County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigation Detectives located a suspicious vehicle the parking lot of Pioneer Casino located at 1705 Highway 50 Alternate in Fernley. Detectives conducted surveillance of the vehicle determined that it was reported stolen.
