Quad-County COVID-19 Update: 11 New Cases and 46 Recoveries

This brings the total number of cases to 11,207, with 8,943 recoveries and 207 deaths; 2,057 cases remain active.

Carson City Rifle and Pistol Range Spring Hours Begin March 1

The Range will be open to the public for drop in use Tuesdays through Sundays 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., weather permitting.
County Commission asked to rescind direction on escort services

The Nature Conservancy in Nevada Awarded $750,000 Grant to Advance Land Management Science

A $750,000 grant from the Bretzlaff Foundation, a family foundation based in Nevada, will advance the chapter’s Landscape Conservation forecasting system and integrate its predictive vegetation modeling with sociopolitical modeling.
Carson City deputies locate stolen construction trailer, arrest suspect for theft, firearm crimes

Carson Street for a second DUI, failure to maintain a lane, driving without a valid driver’s license, driving with an open container in the vehicle, failure to lead to an emergency vehicle, and driving without proof of insurance.

V&T Railroad Arch could finally be rebuilt in Carson City after contentious demolition 30 years ago

However, the memory of it is still with many Carson City residents, and a move to install one of the arches of the historic building is currently being discussed.
