The Capital City Community Band will present a “You Asked For It Concert” on Sunday, May 21, 2023, 2 p.m. at the Legislative Mall on the Capitol Grounds.

A tradition since 1988, Carson High Safe Grad was started by the community following a series of alcohol-related graduation night incidents and deaths. Safe Grad is an all-night graduation party held at the Carson City Community Center celebrating students completing their education while also preventing the use of alcohol and drugs, including drunk driving.

The Carson High School (CHS) Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) unit has received a perfect score of 5 during their recent inspection.
