Last chance to register for the City Wide Short Film Competition; deadline is noon Wednesday
Are you ready to show the world your creative talents and become the Silver State Scorsese? The City Wide Short Film Competition is your chance to shine and showcase your skills to a wider audience. But time is running out.
The deadline to register for the competition is Wednesday, May 10 at noon. That's only a few days away, so don't delay — register now and start working on your film.
Once you register, you'll have two weeks to make a five to nine-minute short film in any genre you choose. The competition is open-genre, which means your creativity can run wild. Whether you want to make a drama, a comedy, an action film, or a science-fiction epic spanning the galaxy, the choice is yours!
And remember, as the great Martin Scorsese once said, "Cinema is a matter of what's in the frame and what's out." So be sure to carefully consider every shot and every frame in your film.
At Silver State Storytellers, we believe that everyone has a story to tell. So let your imagination run free and share your unique vision with the world.
To register for the competition, simply visit our website and fill out the registration form. And if you need inspiration, check out these famous movie quotes:
"The important thing is not to win, it's to take part." - Chariots of Fire
"The best way to predict your future is to create it." - Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
"A film is never really good unless the camera is an eye in the head of a poet." - Orson Welles
We can't wait to see what you come up with!
