Tap Shack's Summer Stage holding first concert event Friday
Touring musicians Leslie Stevens and Max Gomez, from Los Angeles and Taos, New Mexico, respectively, will be performing Friday evening at the new outdoor Summer Stage at 1201 North Carson Street.
Leslie Stevens has performed on NPR's Mountain Stage, and at festivals around the world. She has also been named "Best Country Singer in Los Angeles" by readers of the LA Weekly multiple times.
Although Leslie has performed in Reno in the past, this will be her first time playing in Carson City. Her most recent LP "Sinner" (2019) was produced by Jonathan Wilson, and she has previously worked in the studio with the late David Bianco (Teenage Fanclub, Tom Petty).
