Carson High School senior Cesia Enriquez is working to complete her Senior Project graduation requirement with the Carson City Sheriff’s Office 2018 CHS Seniors Academy, specifically designed for those seniors interested in making law enforcement their future career.

GNCU hosts ribbon cutting for new Carson City branch

Greater Nevada Credit Union (GNCU) will host a ribbon cutting of its new branch at 481 Eagle Station Lane in Carson City this Wednesday, Jan. 24 at 5 p.m.. As a part of the ribbon cutting, GNCU will make a $1,000 check presentation to the Carson City Sheriff's Office Holiday with a Hero program.

GNCU Offering $60,000 in college scholarships for 2018-2019 academic year

CARSON CITY — Greater Nevada Credit Union has expanded its annual scholarship program to help even more people pursue their undergraduate, technical or trade school education goals. This year GNCU will award 30 scholarships to qualifying individuals.

Our loving wife and mother passed away on September 21, 2017 in Carson City in the arms of her family.

Lucy was born on October 9, 1938 to John and Thelma Freeman in Francis, OK. She had 3 brothers and 1 sister; Jimmy, George, Johnny and Ramona. They moved from Oklahoma to Alta Loma, CA in 1945. Lucy graduated from Chaffey High in 1956.
