Time is running out for Nevada high school seniors to take advantage of an opportunity that could shape the rest of their lives. The deadline to apply for the Nevada Promise Scholarship is 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31.

SILVER SPRINGS, Nev. – Saturday, October 28, is Make a Difference Day, one of the largest national community service days. 4 Paws 4-H Dog Club leader, Annamarie Thompson and club members will be selling their wonderful homemade dog biscuits beginning at 9 am this Saturday, August 26, at Benson’s Feed Store, 2750 Highway 50.
