Featured Artist shows by Rob Jennings-Teats and Ken Clarke are on display along with the NAA "Just the Right Size" Show presented now through June 16 @ the Gallery. Rob's paintings largely follow religious and spiritual themes and daily life from Southeast Asia and incorporate traditional styles from that region. Ken's paintings include many Nevada and desert landscapes as well animals and pets.

Join Artsy Fartsy Art Gallery and Barbara Prodaniuk May 21st, from 10-3 PM in the front yard for the opportunity to see Barbara's latest creations.

She creates her unique ceramic sculptures and pottery using wheel-thrown and slab construction techniques.

Sculptural pieces may include some mixed media elements. These elements are chosen with care to help make the piece resonate with a shared cultural experience and often make people laugh.

Porcelain and white stoneware are the clay bodies used and pieces are made in a traditional manner with a bit of a creative twist.

The 2020 Jazz & Beyond Music and Art Festival will include the second annual Carson City Open Studios Tour with multiple locations. Hosted by the Carson City Classic Cinema Club, the Brewery Arts Center is holding a drive-in movie showing of the 1950s classic “Shane” on Saturday. The Nevada Artists Association is excited to present the 2020 “Summer Show." This judged show represents a collection of 74 plus photographs, paintings, drawings, mixed media and 3D pieces by Nevada Artists Association members and non-members from Northern Nevada.

This virtual conversation will feature a discussion about Sun Valley, Nevada, the history of this region, the stereotypes associated with trailer park culture, and the creativity that is born out of this place.
