Carson City arrests: Woman jailed for allegedly hitting husband with fists, empty wine bottle
A 55-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Thursday, 10:41 a.m. in the 100 block of Conestoga Drive for misdemeanor suspicion of domestic battery. The woman allegedly hit and punched her husband with her fists and hit him with an empty wine bottle during an argument, a Carson City sheriff's deputy said.
The officer asked the woman’s husband what precipitated the argument. He said his wife had gotten served with a summons earlier in the day and she had been drinking all night and took her frustrations out on him, the arrest report states. The husband had small scratches and redness on his upper back. The intoxicated woman admitted to hitting her husband but denied using an empty wine bottle to do it. Bail: $3,137.

— A 25-year-old Carson City man and inmate at Carson City Jail was arrested Thursday, 2:07 p.m. for gross misdemeanor suspicion of causing damage to jail property. According to the arrest report, the man allegedly ripped the sidewall of the shower off the wall in the male discipline pod. The vandalism was captured on video, which showed him breaking it and then walking away. Bail: $2,500.
— A 48-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Thursday, 7:52 p.m. in the 1500 block of Rand Avenue for misdemeanor probation violation. The woman, who was on probation through the department of alternative sentencing with clauses not to possess or consume drugs, alcohol or have drug paraphernalia, was in possession of a marijuana pipe. Bail: $3,000.
