Carson City's Pink Elephant Kitchen reopens after farmer's market season ends
Pink Elephant Kitchen, the newest Thai restaurant in Carson City, is back open on the storefront after being temporarily closed for the farmer’s market, according to owner Birdie Harthano.
The restaurant had closed June 1, to operate on a new business model and focus on manufacturing their sauces for the season of farmer’s markets.
Now that the market is closed for the season, the new hours of operation for the restaurant are Tuesday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. till 6:30 p.m. However, their last call for orders will be 5:30 p.m.
The restaurant offers organic, vegan and gluten free choices of Thai food. Their specialty is their Thai curry sauce that is made from scratch with no preservatives or colors added.
“We offer hot foods, pre-packaged food and our specialty frozen curry sauce,” Harthano said.
Pink Elephant Kitchen originally opened in February at 1280 S. Carson Street in Carson City, where it currently lies with its new hours of operation.
