Carson City sheriff's deputies make arrests for alcohol related probation violation
A 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested Tuesday in the 300 block of North Carson Street for suspicion of parole and probation violation, a sheriff's deputy report states.
Sergio Alanza-Aquino was taken into custody at 11:40 p.m. According to the arrest report, deputies were called to a bar in reference to a possible domestic battery. Deputies were advised a female was seen running down Telegraph Street.
Deputies spoke with the female, who said she was not involved in a physical altercation, but did appear emotional. She said she was at the bar with a man, but they were not in a relationship. She provided deputies with a false name, the arrest report states.
Witnesses at the bar said they observed a male push a woman while inside the bar, the report states. The man was located outside the bar. A records check showed he was on Parole and Probation with conditions including no alcohol consumption.
He submitted to a preliminary breath test with a result of .137. The Department of Parole and Probation advised deputies to place a hold on the man for violation of his conditions. He is being held without bail awaiting a hearing.

— An 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested Tuesday, 6:23 p.m. in the 2800 block of North Carson Street for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued Sept. 9, 2019 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $227.
— A 58-year-old Carson City man was arrested Tuesday, 6:56 p.m. in the 1500 block of North Curry Street for suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence, a misdemeanor. According to the arrest report, deputies were called to the area regarding an intoxicated subject. The caller told dispatch the subject wanted to go to rehab and was intoxicated.
Deputies arrived and met with the man who was cooperative and agreed to submit to a preliminary breath test, which resulted in .279. Dispatch advised the man was on Alternative Sentencing with conditions. The agency advised to arrest the man for violation of a suspended sentence. Bail: $1,606.
— A 60-year-old Carson City man was booked Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. into Carson City Jail for a violation of suspended sentence warrant issued July 11, 2018 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000.
