Carson City Sheriff’s Office arrests: Sacramento man jailed on felony forgery charges
A 37-year-old Sacramento man was booked Wednesday into Carson City Jail on two felony warrants for forgery and fraud, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
Cha Seng Vang is in custody on warrant charges of alleging, establishing or possessing a financial forgery laboratory and obtaining and using personal identifying information of another person to harm or defraud. He was extradited from Sutter County for the Carson City warrants, which were issued March 11, 2015. Bail: $50,000.
In other arrests:
— A 60-year-old transient, Ronald John Vickney was arrested Wednesday in the 300 block of Burton Street for a felony warrant alleging possession of stolen property. Bail: $7,500.
— A 39-year-old South Lake Tahoe man, Garett Keith Chambers, was arrested Tuesday, 9:01 a.m. in the area of Fairview and I-580 on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, misdemeanor DUI-drugs, and failure to use a signal. Bail: $6,209.
— A 23-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Wednesday, 4:31 p.m. in the 3200 block of Market Street on felony suspicion of burglary.
Taken into custody was Kristense Moore. According to the arrest report, deputies were dispatched to the Walmart store for a report of a larceny. The suspect attempted to leave the store in a motorized shopping cart with merchandise.
As she was leaving a greeter at the east side door stopped her and asked to see her receipt. She left the greeter and proceeded past all points of paying to the grocery store exit. She drove the cart out of the exit vestibule without making an attempt to pay for 14 items valued at $187.03. She was escorted by loss prevention back to the store and dispatch was notified. Bail: $2,500.
— A 33-year-old Reno man, Ralph Aaron Hall, was booked Tuesday into Carson City Jail on a felony fugitive from justice warrant issued Aug. 29, 2016 out of Carson City Justice Court. He’s on a no bail hold in lieu of a hearing.
— A 29-year-old Carson City man was booked into jail Thursday, 1 a.m. on a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant. Bail: $215.
— A 35-year-old Carson City man was arrested Tuesday, 7:50 a.m. in the 1400 block of Rand Avenue on a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant issued out of Sparks Municipal Court. Bail: $445.
— A 38-year-old transient was booked Tuesday, 8 p.m. into Carson City Jail on three misdemeanor warrant counts of contempt of court. Bail $300.
— A 33-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Tuesday, 8:19 p.m. in the 1200 block of Woodside Drive for misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. Bail: $1,000.
