When the victim returned to her home, she found it in disarray and her white 2002 Dodge Durango missing.

Investigating deputies learned a neighbor had given the suspects access to the home and the vehicle keys. Officers responded to the 1900 block of F Street and called the suspects out of the home. Abella was read her Miranda rights and stated the victim told her she should stay inside, clean up the residence and drive her pickup. She advised her boyfriend, Johnson, also drove the Dodge because she did not have a valid license. Abella told deputies she got the key from the neighbor. Both suspects declined to fill out a statement.

Flores-Hernandez admitted he met the buyer through Craigslist and the two talked about the smart phone and a promotion a store had of turning in an old smart phone to get a new one for free, the arrest report states.
