Carson City Historical Society yard sale attracts buyers and sellers
Buyers and sellers took over the lawn at the Foreman-Roberts House Museum Saturday as part of the Carson City Historical Society's annual summer yard sale. The second one will be Saturday, August 8.
The Carson City Historical Society is also presenting a Teapot Exhibit at the Foreman-Roberts House Museum, 1207 North Carson St., Carson City. The Museum will be open for several days in July for the Exhibit. Paula Cannon has assembled over sixty unique teapots that will be on display. Admission is free. The Museum and the Teapot Exhibit will be open on the following times.

Upcoming events include the Carson City Historical Society's "Sunday Afternoon Tea" on Sunday, August 9 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Foreman-Roberts House.
The tea is a fundraiser for the completion of the interior of the Carriage House, located on the same property as the Foreman-Roberts House Museum. Make your reservations early as seating is limited to 18. Call DD Spencer between for tickets at (775) 741-7897.
A future "Sunday Afternoon Teas" is also being planned for Oct. 11.
