Carson City area casinos see 7.2 percent January gaming revenue climb
Casinos in Carson City, Gardnerville, Minden and other areas of Douglas County except for Stateline at Lake Tahoe saw gambling revenue for the month, also called “gaming win” of $8,101,427. For the fiscal year, Carson City casino revenue is up 7 percent.
Elsewhere, casinos at south shore Tahoe saw gaming revenue climb 14.83 percent, casinos in Reno, 13.82 percent and north shore Tahoe casinos, down by 1.46 percent.
Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a 2.05 percent decrease compared to January 2017.
