Nevada Humane Society Carson City’s Pet of the Week: Laffy Taffy
Nevada Humane Society's pet of the week is Laffy Taffy. This 1-year-old boy was recently transferred to our Carson City campus. He came in as a stray at our Reno campus in October of 2023. Laffy Taffy is a very sweet, energetic boy who can’t wait for his fur-ever home.
He would do his best as the only pet in the home, and a home with older kids is the best bet for his success. Laffy Taffy is seeking a loving family that can provide him with lots of playtime and attention.
Here is what Laffy Taffy has to say about himself:
“Hey there, it's me, Laffy Taffy! I'm not just your average pup; I'm like a burst of energy wrapped up in a curly fur package. I might be young, but I've got some impressive moves — I can kick-flip off walls and soar six feet in the air with a single hop. Of course, with all that enthusiasm, I'm best suited for a home with older kids who can keep up with my antics. Small dogs and cats might find me a bit too playful, so a feline-free and small-dog-free zone would be ideal for me. Once I've burned off my excess energy, I'm a pro at sitting and laying down, but I'll always have that puppy heart that gets easily excited. So, if you're ready for a goofy, energetic companion, I'm your guy — Laffy Taffy, at your service!”
Laffy Taffy has a $75 adoption fee. You can meet him at the Carson City Nevada Humane Society at 549 Airport Road, Carson City, NV 89701, or by calling (775) 887-2171 to learn more. We are open every day from 11:00 am-6:30 pm.
