—A 57-year-old transient man was arrested in the parking lot of a Carson City grocery store early Friday morning on the charge of an ex-felon failing to register.

Deputies were called to the grocery store on reports of an intoxicated male harassing customers. When the man was asked to leave by employees, the man took a shopping cart for personal use and attempted to leave the property with the cart.

A 36 year-old Carson City woman was arrested Friday evening at 7:51 p.m. in the 10 block of College Parkway on charges of felony child abuse/neglect resulting in substantial bodily and/or mental harm, a Carson City Sheriff's deputy reported.

A 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Sunday for suspicion of battery with a deadly weapon and mayhem, both felonies, possession of a deadly weapon and drawing a deadly weapon in a threatening manner, a sheriff’s deputy said.
