Carson City emergency crews called to crash involving 2 motorcycles on Highway 50 East

UPDATE 2:08PM: Eastbound travel lanes on US-50 at Arrowhead near Deer Run are now open. The westbound traffic is being diverted onto Arrowhead, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol. One person was transported by Care Flight and the other rider was taken by ground ambulance. Their conditions are unknown at this time. NHP is investigating the crash.

The fire burned approximately 10 acres entirely on Dayton State Park property, said the CLCFPD battalion chief. The fire and investigation is now under the command of Nevada Division of Forestry.
