A set of car keys and pair of glasses were found at the Carson City Fair which was held at Fuji Park in July 2018. Both are unclaimed and are at the Cooperative Extension office in Carson City. Please join us at the Boy Scout Troop 33's fifth annual Car Show to be held on August 18, 2018 at Fuji Park in Carson City. Doors open at 8 a.m., show starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m. with trophies presented at 3 p.m.

There will be food which is cooked by the famous Warren Engine Co. No. 1 on Carson City and will include barbecue hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs and chili dogs with chips drink and cookie.

There will be two live auctions during the show with some very nice items.

The second annual Carson City Fair brought local youth in agriculture, live music, home craft exhibitors, antique tractors and much more than last year. The fair provides a venue for local youth enrolled in 4-H, FFA and Grange to showcase their agricultural projects.

Carson City Sheriff's arrest log: Deputies make multiple felony drug arrests

A 30 year-old man was arrested early Friday morning at 12:33 a.m. on multiple drug offenses, a Carson City Sheriff's deputy said, including two counts of felony heroin possession, one count of felony methamphetamine possession, and gross misdemeanor possession of a dangerous prescription drug without a prescription.
