Reno Jazz Orchestra recreates 1930s music, dance during summer shows

During the two-hour performance of “Hot House, One Night at the Savoy,” the Reno Jazz Orchestra will capture the character of nightclubbing in the 1930s.

Carson City wins 2019 Levitt AMP Grant Awards for free concert series

We are also the only west coast winner.
The grant gives $25,000 to each community in order to present their own Levitt AMP Music Series, ten free outdoor concerts featuring “high-caliber entertainment in a broad range of music genres.”

King St. The concert was originally planned for Comma Courtyard, but the performers want to present the event in a comfortable and healthy atmosphere.
