Carson Valley sets eyes on Main Street Gardnerville Fall Fest
Submitted by editor on Tue, 09/11/2018 - 1:49pmGARDNERVILLE, Nev. — It wouldn't be fall in the Carson Valley without the annual Scarecrow and Harvest Festival hosted by Main Street Gardens and East Fork Gallery. Or the Annual Slaughterhouse Lane Coffin and Stretcher Races.
This year Main Street Gardnerville has combined all these events into one big festival called Main Street Fall Fest, with more music, activities, demonstrations and vendors at Heritage Park on Saturday, Oct. 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Carson City Soroptimist to present evening of community introduction Sept. 20

This gathering is not just for members, although members enjoy warm friendships and most will be there to enjoy themselves, but is also open to the public. A light supper and beverages will be provided. There is no charge to attend, however prior reservations are required.

Carson City Soroptimist Stroke to Help Golf Tournament September 26

The tournament is a scramble format, with a 9 a.m. shotgun start, at Eagle Valley Golf. Players can choose to play on either the East Course for the fun, or the West Course for the challenge.
