A 59-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday at 10:43 p.m. in the area of Humboldt and William streets on misdemeanor suspicion of DUI and basic speeding, 80 mph in a 40 mph zone. According to the arrest report, an officer observed a vehicle going east on William Street near State Street. The officer estimated the speed at approximately 80 mph.

A 35-year-old Reno woman was arrested Thursday, 9:33 p.m. at Walmart in the 3200 block of Market Street on a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant issued out of Carson City Justice Court.

A 50-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday on suspicion of felony drug trafficking and possession after he had left behind a backpack at a casino that contained just under 10 grams of methamphetamine, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

Two were arrested Friday night in the area of Woodside and Stanton Drive on felony drug trafficking charges after more than 32 grams of methamphetamine was recovered following a traffic stop, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

A Carson City man was arrested early Friday morning on felony suspicion of burglary, grand larceny and attempted burglary after allegedly stealing $800 in jackpot money from a player at a casino.
