February’s first Friday brings nightlife galore: art receptions, music, and Le Cirque Vagabond

The kids of Youth Theater Carson City present a junior adaptation of the musical favorite this weekend and next. The Experimental Aircraft Association hosts ‘Young Eagle’ flights every few months at the Carson Airport to give kids 8 – 17 a plane ride to remember. Help out the Dayton Food Bank during their ‘Stuff-a-Cop-Car’ food drive at the Smith’s in Dayton; unexpired non-perishables of all kinds are appreciated. Senator Square: CHS Library transformation has begun

Great news for Carson High School students as Librarian Ananda Campbell is making sure her library stays cutting edge.

Campbell was awarded both the Library Services and Technology Act Community Enrichment Grant from the Nevada State Library and Archives and the Carson City School District Schools Foundation Mini Grant Teacher Award to help fund Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Projects and to assist in facilitating an ever-changing CHS Senators Library Collaborative Learning area.

Just Brew It offers craft beer, brewing supplies in Carson City

Trevor and Tessa Rotoli have been operating Just Brew It, Carson City’s local brewing supply store, since 2010.

The husband and wife team have expanded the business over the years with more space, product, and added sales of craft beer and a four-tap bar.
