Proscenium Players, Inc. brings a witty buffet of One Acts this weekend to the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall.
Proscenium Players, Inc., the second oldest continuously-operating theater company in Nevada will present a series of humorous One Act plays this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The themes of the Acts are as varied as:

The Brewery Arts Center, Carson City’s premiere epicenter for the arts since 1975, will present Autoharp Master, Singer and Storyteller Bryan Bowers on Saturday night, May 2 in the Maize Harris Jesse Black Box Theater.

From his rather unglamorous beginning as a street singer, Bryan Bowers has become a major artist on the traditional music circuit. He has redefined the autoharp and is also well known as a singer-songwriter. Bryan has a dynamic outgoing personality and an uncanny ability to enchant a crowd in practically any situation.

George Sakellariou began playing the guitar at an early age in Athens, Greece, and received formal training at the esteemed Conservatory of Music in Athens.

The event hosted by and is a fundraiser for RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program). Tickets are $30 each and are available at the RSVP office, the Artisan store at the Brewery Arts Center and online at BreweryArts.org.

Each ticket includes complimentary appetizers from Foodies Bystro beginning at 5:30 pm.

Classic Guitarist George Sakellariou concert April 2 to benefit WNC

Sharing his music has always been an objective for classic guitarist George Sakellariou. During a rare Northern Nevada appearance last year, Sakellariou presented a variety of new and old pieces, leading to an April 2 return engagement presented by Western Nevada College’s Wildcat Productions at the Brewery Arts Center.

Proceeds from the 7 p.m. concert will assist in creating a new scholarship for Wildcat Productions. Sakellariou, 70, has said that a key to entertaining for so long is to remain inspired.

Men Of Worth to play at the BAC March 13

Men of Worth was formed in 1986 by Scotsman Donnie Macdonald and Irishman James Keigher who came together to perform Irish and Scottish folk music, combining traditional and contemporary styles.

RSVP presents comic relief fundraiser with comedian Kat Simmons

The Brewery Arts Center's annual fundraiser, Winter, Wine, Spirits, and All That Jazz, is kicking it up a notch this year with more than 25 distilleries and wineries, music, performances and more and is seeking community support through sponsorships.
