The story of Sarah Winnemucca featured Friday at BAC; Saturday its Lucky Bill and Major William Ormsby
Don't know the story of Sarah Winnemucca? Here's your chance. Dianna Maria de Borges presents Sarah Winnemucca Hopkins, Friday, Oct. 17, 7 p.m. in the Performance Hall of the Brewery Arts Center.

A Northern Paiute Indian Woman Sarah Winnemucca Hopkins many accomplishments included: 1st Female Native American Author: Life Among the Paiutes- Their Wrongs and Claims (1883), a Human’s Rights Activist, Lecturer and Promoter of Peace.
Her statue graces the Nevada State Capital Building in Carson City, as well as the Nation’s Capital Building in Washington, D.C.
On Saturday, Oct. 18. 7 p.m. in the Performance Hall, CW Bayer presents "The Major And The Gambler," a one man play in which we hear first from the gold rush’s most famous gambler, Lucky Bill, and then from his arch rival, Major William Ormsby.
