Maestro of the classical guitar George Sakellariou live April 2 at the BAC
The Brewery Arts Center, Carson City’s premiere epicenter for the arts since 1975, in partnership with Western Nevada College will present George Sakellariou on Thursday night, April 2 in the Performance Hall. George Sakellariou began playing the guitar at an early age in Athens, Greece, and received formal training at the esteemed Conservatory of Music in Athens.
He graduated with honors, and ultimately studied with the great master Andres Segovia. At age 20, George joined the faculty of the San Francisco conservatory of Music where he became Chairman of the Guitar Department.
George has performed throughout the world and on many television and radio programs.
Details: Thursday, April 2 at 7pm in the Performance Hall located at 504 West King Street in Carson City. General admission is $15, $12 for seniors and military, $10 for Brewery Arts Center members and $8 for youth under $12 years old.
