Detectives located the white van and suspect Adam Autry at QuickStop Gas Station located at 3006 N. Roop Street at 4:13 p.m. Autry was taken into custody after further investigation and the van is being held for investigation.

A person who recognized a Honda he had recently seen posted to Facebook as being stolen discovered the vehicle Monday night across from a McDonald's drive-thru and called 911 to report it, resulting in the arrest of a person of interest for attempted homicide, a Carson City sheriff's sergeant said.

Cheryl Smith, 74, of Minden was booked into Douglas County Jail on suspicion of driving under the influence, assault with a deadly weapon and felony destruction of property. Bail was posted Friday morning at $31,509.
Carson City man jailed after trying to cash fake $100 bill at casino

Kevin Frederick Repass was arrested Jan. 24, at 5:32 p.m. According to a Carson City Sheriff's Office report, security at the casino detained Repass for trying to break the phony $100 bill, asking for $20 bills. He told casino security that he had received the $100 bill from another casino, the report states.
