Carson City Sheriff's arrest log: Suspicious vehicle leads to 3 arrested for drugs
Mary-Rachel Reasoner, 30, Meghann Marie Adams, 31, and James Kepler, 32, and, all of Carson City, were arrested Saturday evening for various felony and misdemeanor drug charges after Sheriff’s deputies spotted a suspicious vehicle parked at the roundabout of GS Richards Boulevard and Country Club Drive.
According the arrest report, A K-9 was brought to the scene to sniff for the presence of drugs and affirmed deputies suspicions. After a thorough search of the vehicle, Reasoner, the driver, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance (heroin), misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor violation of a previous alternative sentencing agreement. Her bail is set at $4,500. Meghann Adams was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance (meth and heroin), felony possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bail is set at $6,000. James Kepler was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and violation term of bail conditions, a misdemeanor. His bail is set at $5,500.
Other arrests:
- A 28-year-old Carson City woman and 24-year-old Carson City man were arrested Saturday morning after a resident of the 2000 block of West College Parkway reported that their car had been vandalized. After a witness stepped forwarded and identified the alleged vandals, deputies placed the man under arrest for gross misdemeanor tampering/injuring a vehicle (window). Bail: $2,500. The woman was arrested for accessory to tampering/injuring a vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail: $3,500.
- A 32-year-old Carson City woman was arrested late Saturday evening for DUI (1st) after deputies responded to a single-car accident at Nye and Carson streets. The arrest log also cites an offense for possession of drug paraphernalia. Both are misdemeanors and bail is set at $2,000.
- A 26-year-old Carson City man was detained at 2:19am Sunday morning near William and Roop streets for four misdemeanors: DUI (1st), open container, driving without headlights, and failure to maintain lane. Bail: $1,175.
- A 49-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday evening in the 200 block of West Caroline Street after allegedly threatening his apartment manager. He was placed in custody for misdemeanor threats and breach of the peace. Bail is $1,000.
- A 20-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on a warrant in the 200 block of West Caroline Street Friday evening at 10:09pm for misdemeanor criminal contempt. Bail: $500.
