In the spirit of Christmas and community, Scoup's Ice Cream and Soup Bar has purchased 12 gifts from some of our local businesses, each one to be gifted to 12 lucky individuals.

Items to be gifted come from Rocking And Rolling, Artsy Fartsy Art Gallery, The Purple Avocado, Gather, The Bike Smith, Touched by an Angel, Carson City Culture and Tourism Authority, Carson Jewelry and Loan, Rustically Divine, and Kaleidoscope.

Beginning Nov. 30 at 3:30 p.m., drawing tickets will be given to our customers as defined in the Twelve Days of Christmas guidelines.

The drawing will continue as long as we have tickets (7,654 tickets) or until Dec. 21, at closing, one day prior to the last drawing.

Anytime you purchase a menu item from Scoup's Ice Cream and Soup Bar, you will receive a drawing ticket!

For example, if you come in and purchase a lunch combo, a drink and an ice cream cone, you will be handed three tickets.

Drawings will begin on Dec. 11. Come by the shop and view the amazing gifts from local businesses.

You will find the guidelines of the drawing below, as well as on our Facebook page or at Scoup's.

As an added bonus, on Dec. 1, anyone who takes part of and is wearing a wine walk wrist band will receive a single drawing ticket. Those who take part in the Holiday Crawl and are wearing the wrist band will receive two tickets.

Scoups 12 Days of Christmas gifting guidelines

Purchase an item from Scoup's Ice Cream and Soup Bar menu and receive a drawing ticket. That is, purchase a soup and salad combo and receive one ticket. Purchase a soup and salad combo and a soda and receive two tickets. A single scoop of ice cream or a double scoop would be one ticket each.

If a family of five comes in and they each purchase one ice cream, they will receive five tickets. Drawing tickets are pre-numbered and have a total of two tickets attached.

Hold on to one of the tickets and place the second ticket into the red “Letters to Santa” mail box inside of Scoup's Ice Cream and Soup Bar. All tickets will remain in the mailbox mentioned until all of the gifts have been collected by the winners. Scoup's will pass out a total of seven thousand six hundred and fifty-four (7,654) tickets.

Drawings will start on Dec. 11 and will continue until Dec. 22. You do not need to be present to win. You must bring the ticket in with you to receive your prize.

Scoup's will give the prize to whomever is in possession of the ticket. Scoup's Ice Cream and Soup Bar is not responsible for lost tickets. The ticket will be drawn and posted on Scoup's Facebook page by 11 a.m. on the given day.

Collecting your prize

The drawings will be placed on the Scoup's Ice Cream and Soup Bar Facebook page for each day of the drawing. The customer in possession of the ticket may come in and collect the prize, no later than Dec. 31. Please note that Scoup's Ice Cream and Soup Bar will be closed for the holidays from Dec. 23 through Dec. 26.

Any prize not collected will be up for a drawing of a ticket starting on Jan. 3, 2019 until the item is collected. Once the drawing begins on Jan. 3, the ticket holder will have that day to collect the gift. We will continue the process until the gifts are all given. So, hang on to your tickets.
