Join Artsy Fartsy Art Gallery and Barbara Prodaniuk May 21st, from 10-3 PM in the front yard for the opportunity to see Barbara's latest creations.

She creates her unique ceramic sculptures and pottery using wheel-thrown and slab construction techniques.

Sculptural pieces may include some mixed media elements. These elements are chosen with care to help make the piece resonate with a shared cultural experience and often make people laugh.

Porcelain and white stoneware are the clay bodies used and pieces are made in a traditional manner with a bit of a creative twist.

Join Artsy Fartsy Art Gallery and Jason Clark on Aug. 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the front yard of the gallery. Jason has been hard at work creating his newest series.

"My latest evolution has redesigned my style," said artist Jason Clark. "I’m crystallizing my designs and adding it to my fluid acrylics. There is a clean and elegant touch to every piece."

Heading into the weekend, there’s a bevy of activities around the Carson City region. A Thanksgiving Turkey Drop for families in need will be held Friday at Max Casino. The holiday movie premieres of “Feliz NaviDAD” and “Once Upon A Main Street” on Saturday will feature different venues in Carson City.
