Boots on the Ground: Sierra Nevada Forums video focuses on volunteerism in Carson City
Volunteerism was the focus of November's Sierra Nevada Forums held Nov. 15 at the Brewery Arts Center. The program featured in this video was emcee'd by Kathy Bartosz, executive director of Partnership Carson City. Guest speakers are:
Joyce Buckingham, executive director of Ron Wood Family Resource Center; Steve Shaw, volunteer with the Capital City Circles Initiative; Lisa Lee, executive director of Advocates to End Domestic Violence; Jim Peckham, executive director of Friends in Helping Service, also known as FISH; Susan Haas, executive director of Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, also known as RSVP and Yaraseth Lugo-Anaya of United Latino Community.
