Eyes on Carson City: Arlington Square Ice Rink now open
Dozens of skaters took to the fresh, new ice opened to the public at Arlington Square Saturday for the winter season.
The first skate session started at 10 a.m. Saturday and runs until 1 p.m. two more sessions are schedule for 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday afternoon and 6 to 9 p.m. tonight.
Skate rental is $3 and a skate session is $7 for those over 13 years old, and $5 for youth 3-12 years old. Those 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
The rink will be open throughout the winter as long as the weather cooperates, so please call the Arlington Square Ice Rink HOTLINE at 775-283-7629. The Ice Rink is currently scheduled to close Jan. 27.
