Carson City Sheriff's Office seeks help locating driver hauling backhoe involved in hit and run

The Northern Nevada Development Authority will host a July 25 discussion in Carson City that will examine impacts of tariffs and exports on the local economy.

A 38-year-old Carson City man was arrested Sunday for felony suspicion of residential burglary and possession of stolen property, a sheriff’s deputy said.

UPDATE: 1:25PM: Forward progress of the fire on Masonic Drive has been stopped, according to a report from the Record-Courier, but not before one home caught fire and became fully involved.
The blaze has been held to the one structure so far. Air support has been cancelled as a result of forward progress made by ground crews.
