Applications sought for Carson City Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife
The Carson City Board of Supervisors is seeking applications from persons interested in serving on the Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife.
The Board manages wildlife matters within Carson City. The meetings vary in number, usually with the onset of Fishing and Hunting seasons, and could be up to six hours a month.
There are currently three openings, each for a term that will expire in July 2021.
The upcoming appointments of new members to the Carson City Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife will be the appointment of a qualified person to represent the interests of a sportsman, rancher or farmer.
Applicants must be a registered voter as well as a resident of Carson City.
All members will serve without compensation. The City’s Boards, Committees, and Commissions Policy and Procedures can be viewed online at www.carson.org/volunteer.

Applications will be accepted until Aug. 3, 2018. Interviews for this volunteer position are tentatively planned to be held at the regularly scheduled Board of Supervisors meeting on Thursday, Aug. 16.
