More than two dozen riders participate in Halloween Blinky Man bike event
At least 30 riders participated in the first Halloween version Blinky Man, a night-time bicycling-with-lights event through Carson City.
The free-to-ride all ages event saw participants dress themselves and their bikes with costumes and bright and blinking lights where they peddled around town, including a stop at the Governor's mansion. After the children's events finished the tour was geared toward adult riding with stops at The Tap Shack and the Haunted Alley Way at the Horseshoe Club.
"Blinky Man promotes not only the accessibility of Carson City for bikes but also the unique Halloween activities that the Westside provides," event promoter Kyle Horvath said. "Carson City offers an amazing Halloween experience, and we're excited to be part of it."
