Trick or Treat, Carson City! Here's where you can go for candy this year
In Carson City, Trick or Treating this year will be held Wednesday, October 31. Looking for an alternative to the traditional door to door, or want additional trick or treat experiences this year? Here's a list of all trick or treat festivities being held this season.
Trick or Treating door to door will always be held on Halloween night, October 31, unless it falls on the same day as the Nevada Day Parade. Trick or Treating used to be held the night before Halloween in Carson City due to the parade, but now we've joined the standard of trick or treating on Halloween, to the dismay of those who used to trick or treat one night in Carson City, and another night in Gardnerville during the 90s.
However, there are alternatives to traditional trick or treating, including trunk or treat, safe halloween, and more!
—The annual Halloween Trunk or Treat Cruise Night at the Carson Mall will be held this year on Friday, October 26, at 5 pm. All the proceeds will go to Eagle Valley Children's Home. Please provide your own wrapped candy and decorate your trunk for the kids!
Raffles, Music and Food Specials! Trophies will be Club Par, Best Trunk, Kids Pick and a secret pick! Children must be attended by a parent or guardian. Part of the Parking lot will be shut off to keep little witches and zombies safe at 5 pm. Please follow the arrows for parking.

This event is free but please bring a non-perishable food item as part of a food drive. Dozens of local business and organizations will decorate booths and pass out candy and other treats.
