Public comment period open for Redwood Materials, Inc air permit in Carson City
The Nevada Division of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Air Pollution Control has entered the public notice period for the new Class II Air Quality Operating Permit for Redwood Materials, Inc. in Carson City.
The public comment period is from October 15, 2020, through November 16, 2020.
The BAPC has reviewed the application and has made a preliminary determination to issue a new permit for the Redwood Materials, Inc, located in Carson City County, on Conestoga Drive in Carson City. The facility is a pilot scale production facility to reprocess electronics into metal material commodities. The primary form of electronics processed at the facility are various grades of printed circuit boards and lithium-ion batteries.
The proposed project will not cause or contribute to a violation of any federal or State of Nevada air quality standards.
