Carson City entertainer to sing National Anthem at Wednesday's Trump campaign stop in Reno
A Carson City man has been selected to sing the National Anthem on Wednesday ahead of a campaign stop in Reno by Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
Entertainer Rick J. Radecki will sing ”The Star-Spangled Banner" at the opening of the Trump For President rally to be held at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center at 3:30 p.m.
Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. Trump’s appearance follows a rally in Henderson, also on Wednesday.
This will be the second time Radecki has lent his voice to the Trump campaign.
"It’s an honor and a privilege to do this for any candidate who comes through Northern Nevada representing a major party and who definitely could become our next president,” Radecki said, adding that he’s a Trump supporter.
Wednesday’s event will be Trump's first appearance in Northern Nevada since the state's caucuses in February. Running mate Mike Pence campaigned in Carson City and Reno this summer.
