Carson City emergency crews called to crash with injuries at Fifth and Stewart streets
UPDATE 6:54PM: Two people were flown by Care Flight and one person was taken by ground ambulance in the wreck that happened early this evening at the intersection of Stewart and Fifth Street, according to Carson City Fire Chief Bob Schreihans. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called early Tuesday evening to an accident with injuries in the area of Fifth Street and Stewart.
A Care Flight helicopter has been ordered after one person was reported to be bleeding from the head. There are two injured who are being taken by Care Flight to Renown Medical Center in Reno, according to emergency crews on scene. One person had to be extricated from one of the pickups involved.
One of the vehicles involved has hit a signal light pole and is causing a traffic backup. The crash was reported at around 5:30 p.m.
Traffic is being diverted around the crash scene. Motorists are advised to keep clear of the area as emergency vehicles are arriving. Traffic is being rerouted at Stewart and Musser and Fifth Street to Plaza.
