Suspect sought using stolen credit cards at Target store south of Carson City
Douglas County authorities are looking for a woman who allegedly used credit cards from a wallet that was stolen in South Lake Tahoe to ring up several hundred dollars of merchandise at the Target store south of Carson City.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday released photos of the person of interest in the crime with the hopes someone may be able to identify her. The wallet was stolen June 28. On the same day the suspect used stolen credit cards obtained from the wallet to make the purchases, said DCSO Sgt. Bernadette Smith.
Video surveillance captured the alleged suspect entering and exiting Target. She is believed to possibly be a Hispanic woman between the ages of 30 and 40, with dark shoulder length hair wearing a white shirt and red capri pants. The associated vehicle in the photos, (scroll, and double click to enlarge) is believed to be the car the woman was in when she left the scene, said Smith.
