Carson City Sheriff's Office celebrates multiple promotions within its ranks

Today, the Carson City Sheriff’s Office celebrates a significant milestone in the careers of several members of our community. It is with great pride and profound respect that we recognize the promotion of Sergeant Matthew Smith to the rank of Lieutenant and Deputy Christopher Arrison, Daniel Reece, and Francisco Torres to the rank of Sergeant.

In law enforcement, a promotion is not just a step up in rank; it is a testament to one's dedication, skill, and unwavering commitment to serve and protect our community. Today, as we honor these gentlemen we acknowledge the countless hours of hard work, the challenges faced, and the sacrifices made along the way.

Each of them has consistently demonstrated the qualities that define a true leader. From their early days as a deputy, they exhibited an unyielding commitment to justice, an unwavering sense of duty, and a profound empathy for those they served.

The journey from Deputy to Sergeant and Sergeant to Lieutenant is marked by a deeper responsibility and a broader vision. These are roles that require not just bravery and strength, but also wisdom, compassion, and an unshakeable integrity.

We celebrate their past achievements and look forward to the impact they will continue to make in their new role at the Carson City Sheriff’s Office.

Congratulations!! May each of you continue to lead with courage, serve with honor, and inspire with every action. We are proud of you, and we stand with you as you take on this new and noble responsibility.
