More chicken for Carson City: Crazy D’s Hot Chicken opening shop downtown

Crazy D’s Hot Chicken is opening up in the former Pink Elephant / Long John Silvers building at 1280 S. Carson St.

On Wednesday, signage was installed on the newly painted building announcing the opening.

A grand opening is scheduled for July 20.

This is the fourth Northern Nevada location of the chicken restaurant which serves up fried chicken tenders, chicken sliders, “crazy” fries and more. They can also be found on the go with their Crazy D's food truck.

“We are a family-run business, and we have a lot of pride in our heritage and the quality of our products,” a spokesperson for the company wrote. “Our goal is to provide our customers with great service and delicious, fresh, home-cooked chicken.”
