Fireworks, carnival, music and more this July 4 at Mills Park in Carson City
Celebrate Independence Day 2019 with fireworks, a carnival, live music and more at Mills Park in Carson City during the annual RSVP July 4 Celebration and Carnival, Thursday through Sunday at Mills Park.
Thursday, July 4 features live music with Jake Armer and the Hotdogs, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. There will be a live radio remote via Wild 102.9 FM from 6 to 9 p.m. The fireworks show will start around 9:30 p.m. Admission is free.
This year's fireworks production is by PyroGuys. Viewers can tune into Wild 102.9 to listen to a music arrangements during the fireworks show.
Carnival entrance is free all four days. There are fees associated with carnival rides. Thursday's carnival begins at 1 p.m. and features rides, food and craft vendors for all ages. All day carnival ride wristbands are $30 each at the park. There's a $5 discount coupon available at the RSVP beer booth.
Veterans will receive 3 free rides compliments of Carson City Toyota. They can pick up their tickets at the RSVP beer booth.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday events kick off at 1 p.m. and run until 10 p.m.
